The Business Check-In: 5 Simple Questions to Refocus Your Week

Most people start their week reacting — to emails, problems, or a long to-do list. But the most successful people I coach do something different: they pause. They check in with themselves before the chaos hits. Just 5 minutes of focused thinking can shift your entire week from busy to intentional.
Here are five simple questions to ask yourself every Monday morning BEFORE you check your email:
What’s the ONE thing I must accomplish this week?
What distractions do I need to eliminate?
Who do I need to follow up with or connect with?
What am I avoiding that really needs action?
How will I celebrate progress by Friday?
These questions aren’t magic — but they do create clarity, and clarity creates results. Print them out. Keep them on your desk. Ask them every week. The answers will keep you aligned, energized, and moving in the right direction.
